Does your future include owning your own business, earning a business degree in college, or do you want to try and learn something new? The San Juan Hills Business program goal is to expose high school students to the exciting world of business, prepare them for their future, and give them the tools necessary to make that next step in their journey.
The introductory course to business can be taken by Freshman through Senior. This is a Saddleback course taught on Sam Juan Hills campus and gives students 3 units of entrepreneurship credit as well as College elective credit at San Juan Hills. It is a semester long course offered during zero period and meets Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays.
The Capstone class in the program. Students learn how to run a business from concept and idea to writing the year end report for investors. Students will learn with practical hands on experience as the student leadership team (CEO, CFO, VP's, etc.) runs the class with the help of the Facilitator (Mr. Wooten). Students love to see their ideas in action during the trade shows that have up to 80 different high schools competing against each other.
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
This is a very hands on project based class focused on Social Media Marketing. Students will products and services they will promote using Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and other social media platforms. They will analyze the results of their marketing campaigns and compete against classmates for the most create campaigns.
